Chapter 8

Chapter 8
“MY FUTURE COVENANT WITH ISRAEL WILL BE WRITTEN WITHIN THEM ON THEIR HEARTS, AND I WILL BE THIER GOD, AND THEY WILL BE MY PEOPLE”
Jeremiah 31:33

1
As I have already said, all of the commandments given to our original parents were not so much laws as we think of laws today, but instead instinctive behaviors, with one possible exception, but maybe not. At Genesis 3:3 Eve clarified the details of this law in a conversation between herself and Satan. “God says that we are not allowed to consume or have any contact with the fruit from a specific tree that is within the garden”.

2
At verses such as Genesis 2:9 this tree is described as “The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil”. In The Bible it is commonly understood that all proper names have meaning. It is also obvious that these proper names are earned. A good example of this concept can be found at Genesis25:25,26 which describes the birth of Isaac’s twin sons Jacob and Esau. At birth Esau is born hairy, hence his name which means hairy. Jacob is born holding on to his brother’s heel, hence his name which means grabber of the heel.

3
Later in life Jacob engages in a physical altercation with what Genesis 32:22-32 calls a male tribal leader, Hosea 12:4 later reveals that this male tribal leader was in fact an Angel, as a result Jacob’s name is changed to Israel, which means “contends with a god”. This fight took place in Peniel, which means hip socket because during the altercation Jacob injured his hip socket.

4
It should be obvious that all of these proper names were earned. To someone who studies the Bible deeply, it becomes obvious that this is the pattern for all Bible names. Including the name earned by “The Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil”.

5
The Churches present this story in fairy tale form, as if we are suppose to believe that God placed magic fruit, with the power to make people smart, within Eve’s reach as a means of tempting her into wickedness. But a more reasonable explanation would be that Satan simply used a piece of fruit that he knew was off limits to mankind, as a means of negotiating some kind of legal agreement between himself and Eve.

6
The fruit did not have the ability to impart knowledge of what is good and what is evil. It was the act of rejecting natural law, that brought that about. According to Genesis 3:5 Satan told Eve that if she ate from the fruit, she, just like the gods, would be able to decide for herself what was good and what was evil.

7
The Bible explains that Satan wanted to be worshiped, but understood that as long as humanity was obedient to God’s natural law, they in effect would be worshipers of God. (Isaiah14:14) But convincing a human to be disobedient to God’s law, would eliminate that problem, her eating of the fruit signified what the Bible would later call a covenant. A two way agreement to engage in a form of law above and beyond established law. In this particular instance the covenant was between Eve and Satan. And the established law was natural law.

8
In our day millions still voluntarily submit to that ancient covenant. Others are forced into that covenant under duress. But in any case, our planet has been damaged to the point where natural law is no longer an option. Most species of living things that mankind was placed here to protect, are now extinct, including the trees of life, and most of the other vegetation that was intended to nourish mankind.

9
All humans, who come into the world as we approach the LORD’s day find themselves under Satan’s law from the moment of their birth. As the Book of Revelation plainly states, “anyone who wishes to acquire the necessities of life must accept “The Mark Of The Beast”. Revelation13:17
